Divergence Jazz Orchestra in concert supported by SIMA
Divergence Jazz Orchestra will be presenting an exciting program of new Australian music in partnership with the Sydney Improvised Music Association (SIMA) at the Sound Lounge on April 10. The performance will see the world premiere of new compositions by Cam McAllister, Rafael Karlen and Jenna Cave; and other new music by Elliot Hughes, Bill Motzing and Paul Murchison. The first concert in SIMA’s Jazz Orchestra Lounge series, the concert will traverse the borders of big band music with minimalism, jazz-rock fusion, collective improvisation and poly-rhythmic grooves.
