WIFT/APRA Mentorship Award

Last week I was offered a Women in Film and Television/APRA mentorship award for screen composers. Film and television composer Guy Gross, based at Trackdown Studios, had kindly offered to take me under his wing and mentor me this year. He will be assisting me in my work and in getting more experience and knowledge of working as a composer in the industry.

I'm looking forward to working with Guy!

Film Music Commission

I am currently working on my first commission for a short film. The film is a comedy musical, which means I get to write featured songs as well as the score. It's a great little film and I've had lots of fun working on the project so far. It  is being developed and funded by Screen Australia's Indigenous Branch.
